This was an unbelievable game. Both teams played extremely hard. Morton is very athletic and well coached. You have to earn everything when play against them. And Magee did that tonight.
It was like a heavy weight fight. Every time Morton seem to knock the Trojans out, Magee came fighting back. And fortunate for us Magee delivered the final blow; as Jordan McCoy hit a shot as the horn sounded. Her and fellow Jr. Ciarra Norwood have come up big all year long
And credit our seniors (on senior night): Natalie Counts, Mia Barber, Audrianna Martin, and Miesha Tatum. They have been outstanding all year long. They are leaders and good ball players.
This season has been a wild ride.
District Tournament is next week @ Saint Andrew’s. Magee has a district meeting tomorrow morning, Saturday, to determine seeding.
Magee’s Record is 13-7 overall and 8-2 in district.
