Tosiha Marie Counts, age 30, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Magee General Hospital. She was born August 1, 1991, to James Counts Sr. and Peggy Sue (Jolly) Counts on August 1, 1991, in Jackson, MS
Tosiha was known for her loving and compassionate spirit. She would spend hours entertaining her loved ones by dancing and singing. She was funny and always greeted you with a smile. She enjoyed painting and going to the park. Those who knew her will feel the loss of the shining light she brought to their lives.
She is survived by her father, James Counts Sr. (Peggy); grandfather, “Ham” Jolly; siblings, Amy Rutledge, Kelly Rose Counts, James Counts Jr., Peggy Parish, J.D. Parish, Angel Parish Warren, Jimmy Parish; a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends that she loved wholeheartedly.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Erlene Jolly, Billy Counts and Irene Counts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Tutor Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Parish Family Cemetery in Magee, MS.
