We must go forward.  From what I understand, plans will not be announced until the end of July.

These are just a few of the top stories from 2020! But, as we all reflect back on 2020 some will consider the year a great one, others just luke warm, and some ready to see the year come to an end.

2020 brought many changes and first for our world. The nation learned to social distance, wear mask, search for toilet paper, and covet sanitizing products. The nation shut down and many jobs were compromised. Unemployment was at an all time high. Churches were closed. Concerts cancelled. Conventions cancelled. Graduations were different. Holidays were not the same.  Zooming became a way of communication and the main source for meetings.

Many loved ones were lost due to the horrific virus!

Not one senior, students, parent, teacher, or citizen every thought Spring break would bring so many changes. Students did not return to school to say their good byes. Proms, awards day, senior picnic, baccalaureate services, and senior parties were all cancelled. Parents with children in school had to adjust and wear the “teacher hat” to help the kids the last semester of school.

The Pandemic has taught individuals how to maneuver situations, find solutions, become closer as a family, cherish times together, and become stronger.

As we open the door for 2020 to exit, we welcome 2021 and look forward to positive changes in the new year and the possibility of a little normalcy to come.
