The State Flag Commission announced their selection of the 5 flag designs according to the Mississippi Archives and History website.

To get a better view of the chosen flags, the 5 flags will fly on the flag pole in front of the Old Capital on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

On Wednesday, September 2nd, a final vote to choose the winning flag will be held.

The selected flag will appear on the November ballot.  A majority vote is required to accept the new flag as the State of Mississippi flag.

Over 90,000 Mississippians cast their vote in the selection process.
