Tommy Joseph “T.J” White, Mendenhall, MS
Tommy Joseph “T.J.” White was 66 years old when he went home to the Lord on October 29, 2016.
T.J. was born in Jackson, Mississippi on November 18, 1949. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Daniel White and Tommye Barr Williams. He graduated from Pearl High School in 1967.
After high school T.J. served in the Air National Guard. He also devoted his entire life to the trucking industry. He loved traveling across the country, getting to see what all our nation had to offer, and ranching at Oakhill Ranch when he was home. His most recent employer was L.A. Logistics.
T.J. is survived by his three children; Joseph David White and his wife Amy, Joseph Daniel White and Joycelyn (White) Presley and her husband Jim. He had five grandchildren; Danielle, Leah, Jacob, Alexander and Rachel. He also leaves behind his siblings; Andy D. White, LeeAnne (White) Lewis and Walter Allen White.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Ranch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in his memorial.
