Tommy Holyfield passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his residence. He was born on February 7, 1938, to Frank Elias Holyfield and Etta Moore Holyfield in Simpson County.
He was a lifelong native of Simpson County. He began his employment in the oil field and then retired later, spending all his time in farming.
Tommy is survived by his son, Wade Holyfield (Celeste); daughter, Connie Arrington (Buddy); seven grandchildren; and son-in-law, Gary Womack.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy Meadows Holyfield, and his daughter, Sonya Womack.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Stonewall Cemetery in the Shivers Community at 11:00 AM. Jimmie King will officiate the service with interment following.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
