This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24”
Read that verse again. It’s a declarative statement. God made this day. The author of this Psalm was determined to rejoice over that fact. He made a choice to think of the positives. We wake up some days with an attitude of dread, fear, and worry. We are concentrating on the problems and not the solutions!
Change your attitude and look at the blessings of each day. Each day brings new joys and new challenges. Start fresh with a clean slate each day.
Don’t spoil today with yesterday’s regrets or tomorrow’s troubles. We sabotage our day by worry and anxiety over “shoulda, woulda, and coulda” until we sap all of the joy from a beautiful day! We aren’t giving the day a chance! We are forgetting that God is still on his throne and has promised to meet all of our needs!
Remember our instruction: “To Rejoice is a Choice”!
