Three deceased dogs were found on Blackwell Road in Mendenhall off Highway 540.  According to Isabella Leftwich ,” two dogs appeared to be freshly dumped, while one had obviously been in the area much longer.”  The oldest body still had a collar.  All three dogs appear to be pit mixes.

Isabella reported from the post she made on Simpson County Community page, several people suspect dog fighting rings.

The information was given to the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department.  The sheriff’s department has given Isabella permission to set up trail cameras in the areas.

Why tell the culprits that they are setting up camera’s? Don’t you think that would defeat the purpose?? Think more post less!
