Threatened with Heaven

We have all been reading about the terrible things happening to Christians all across the world. I have seen the terrible images of suffering, death and torture and it makes me question myself, “Would I deny my faith in Christ to continue to live?” Here in America, it is increasingly un-popular to be a faithful Christian and speak against sin. Some have lost friends, jobs and family for speaking their beliefs.

We all have those moments when we must take a stand, choose who we will follow, or decide to “go along to get along”. I think that the Christians that are in these terrible situations– in constant fear of starvation, torture, and all manner of unspeakable sufferings-
they leave an increasingly difficult life and immediately arrive in heaven!!! When they die, they are immediately free from suffering, sorrow, pain or fear!!! They will not need to scratch and hunt for food and water, they will not fear for the lives of their loved ones anymore! They are threatened with heaven!!

Role models can be positive or negative.

Don’t put a lot of concern into what others think of you.

March 31, 2026

As I observe our world, it has been revealed to me that, sometimes, dying for our faith is not as difficult as living our faith!! Living my faith means loving the un-lovable, forgiving those that have inflicted deep wounds and hurts; it means we must move past our sins and really change our attitudes and our actions; we have to let go of “I have every right to be angry because you do not know what he/she has done to me!”; “ I don’t want to give up __________”, (fill in the blank!).

If living our faith is easier than dying for our faith, why do we have so many that have
“fallen away”?

“But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away” (Luke 8:13, NKJV)

“But the spirit explicitly says that in the later times, some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,” (1 timothy 4:1, NASB)

“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
(Ephesians 4:31-32 NKJV)
