The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Isaiah 40:31: “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” This is one of my favorite verses in the BIBLE. The prophet of old daily communed with God with words of wisdom given him by God to deliver to the nation of Israel. If God’s chosen would only put their complete trust and faith in Him, He would renew their strength continually. They could fly like eagles, run and not tire, walk and not faint.” What wonderful promises this verse contains for the true believer then, as now. Let us take God’s promises to heart, trust in Him, and see this passage come alive in our hearts and lives. And all God’s people said, “Amen”!
