Thomas Matthew Walker, 89 of Magee, MS passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 surrounded by his daughters. He was born Monday, November 19, 1934 in Magee, Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee. Shelby Colson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ira Nell Davis Walker; parents, Charlie  Washington Walker and Hallie  Ware  Walker;  brothers, Solomon  Walker, James  Walker, Robert  Walker, Gerald  Walker and Joseph Navel Walker;  sisters, Clara Bell Walker, Ruthie Mae Walker, Hazel  Walker Reese, Clara Mae Walker and Maggie Walker Yates.

  Survivors include his daughters, Linda Lingle  (Charles “Corky”), Sherry  Lacey, Donna Walker and Patty Brown (Michael); grandchildren, Brandon  Lingle  (Nicole), Chassity Johnson (Dave), Wesley Stuckey (Drew Rieger) and Houston Everett; sisters, Ann Marie Roberts, Nell Fairley;  great grandchildren, Brianna Lingle, Bryce Lingle and Chace Lingle; and a host of nieces  and nephews.

  Pallbearers will be Wesley Stuckey, Michael Brown, Corky Lingle, and Tim Lacey.

  Honorary pallbearer will be Houston Everett.
