Thomas Henry Everett, II, 73 of Mendenhall, MS went from his earthly to his heavenly home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his residence in Mendenhall, MS. He was born Thursday, July 27, 1950 in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, MS. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00am at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Conner Gibson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Thomas loved to deer hunt, but his favorite pastime was fishing. Nothing made him happier than to trotline catfish on the Strong and Pearl rivers. He loved the outdoors. Thomas was an engineer by trade and worked all over the world on large construction projects. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, provider, and friend. He loved the Lord and was a member of County Line Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Everett, Sr.; mother, Viola Martin Everett; and brother-in-law, Brad McNair.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Vickie Lynne McNair Everett; son, Jake Henry Everett (Ashley); daughter, Haley Everett Ainsworth (Chad); grandchildren, Hatti Jeanette Ainsworth and Huck Ainsworth; sister, Penny Stitt (Don); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Larry Tolbert, Mike Dilmore, Richard Pogue, Chad Ainsworth, Don Stitt, TJ Everett, and Leon Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Boggan, Paul R. Phillips, Chase Grayson, and Brent Freeman.

Special music will be performed by Buddy Mullins.
