Jamie was a hardworking man, he held many different jobs when he was younger but served mostly as an electrician for many, many years. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandbabies. He loved to tinker and collect all different items. He enjoyed picking his guitar, playing his records, and a good glass of sweet tea. He loved the Lord and read his bible daily. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Smith; mother, Elizabeth Freeman Smith; grandchild, Asher Riette.

He is survived by his wife, Shana Smith; son, James M. Smith; daughters, Hannah Smith Riette (Jason) and Katelyn Smith Freeman (Dalton);  grandchildren, Elijah Riette, Layla “Lizzie” Freeman, Abigail Riette, Gabriel Freeman; brother, Billy Smith (Rosario); sisters, Kristi Miller (Eric) and Angela Bamburg (Robert); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be James M. Smith, Dalton Freeman, Jason Riette, Keith Miller, Kurt Miller, Dalton Bamburg, Chad Russell, and John Blunt
