Deborah “Debbie” Bairefield, 72 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Cullman Regional Hospital in Cullman, AL. She was born Sunday, August 12, 1951 in Montgomery, AL.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Pastor Sidney Jones and Bro. Chris Bentley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mrs. Debbie loved her family fiercely, she will be deeply and truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny E. Bairefield, Sr.; son, Johnny Bairefield, Jr.; daughter, Margaret Bairefield; father, Jesse C. Alexander; mother, Opal Priscock; brothers, Billy Ray Alexander, Douglas Boutwell and James Boutwell.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Brown (Greg Bentley) and Jennifer Devoter (Landon); grandchildren, Makayla Bairefield, Tara Bairefield, Makenzie Runnels, Eli Black, Tristian Devoter, Kari Burrow (Wade), Chris Bentley (Kayla) and Dawn Brasher (Chris); great grandchild, Taylor Brown; sister, Peggy Brown (James Counts); and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Brown, Chris Bentley, Thomas Earl Warren Jr., Daniel Warren, James Counts, John Warren, and Greg Bentley.
