ColonialChapelTheodore Dennis “Shorty” Hutchinson, 87 of Raleigh, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Miss Care Center in Raleigh.

Born Monday, January 23, 1928 in Lucedale, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Edward Hutchinson and the late Evie  Dew  Hutchinson. He was the husband of the late Elouise  Martin  Hutchinson.

He was a Veteran of  World War II, and was a member of Acts Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Dennis Hutchinson of Silver Creek,  Bruce Hutchinson of Mize, and Randy Hutchnison of Sumrall, daughter, Rhonda Adcock of Morton; Sister, Vivian Phipps of Pulaski, 10 grand children; 21 great grand children.

He was predeceased by brother, Johnny Dew “Bud” Hutchinson, sisters, Margarete Harris and Quinnie Coley.

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. Interment will be in Merchant Cemetery in Raleigh, with Bro Danny Dickerson officiating

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Colonial Chapel Funeral in Raleigh.
