Theo Lawson Hughes, 92, passed away Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Miss Care Center in Raleigh. She was born Thursday, July 28, 1927.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton. Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Hughes; parents, A.C. and Ina Lawson; brother, Charles (Pete) Lawson; sister, Olivia Craft; sons-in-laws; Ronald Beaver and J.E. Albritton.
Survivors include her three children; Dianne Albritton, Helen Beaver, and Rick Hughes (Bonnie); grandchildren; Yonna Carman (Rodney), Tanya Patterson (Marty), Heath Albritton, Chris Hughes (Joyce), and Misty Dillard (Roger) ; great-grandchildren; Adam Robertson (Holly), Preston Robertson, Juston Robertson, Dusty Barton (Bailey), Britton Holland, Brittany Hughes, Christian Dillard, and Bryce Dillard; great-great-grandchildren, Ethan Robertson, Presley Robertson, Cayden Robertson, and Blakeleigh Barton; sister, Claudette Whittington.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Carman, Adam Robertson, Heath Albritton, Dusty Barton, Curtis Lawson, and Marty Patterson,
