The Scriptural passage for today is found in Job 33:4: “The Spirit of God has made me; breath of the Almighty gives me life.” In all of Job’s sufferings, he never once cursed God or blamed Him for his miseries. Instead, Job praised the Lord for what he did have, realizing that God is the creator and owner of all things. They are given, and they’re taken away, but in it all and through it all, God is to be thanked and praised. We are certainly no less than Job. We are admonished to give thanks to God in all things. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God. Amen!
This morning, let’s purpose in our hearts to share the love, joy, and happiness with all with whom we come in contact. God freely shares them with us daily. Let us gladly do the same with others. Blessed be the Lord!
