The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Proverbs 29:15: “The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.” The BIBLE tells us plainly that the Lord chastens those He loves. Likewise, we as parents or guardians are told to train and properly nurture those placed within our charge. With love, Christian teaching, and consistent discipline and training, a child stands a very good chance of becoming a productive citizen who will instill those same standards within his own children. Being a parent is hard work; therefore, let’s approach this very serious undertaking with God as our guide, our compass. Study His Word for proper instruction. All the rules and directions are contained within its pages. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God!
