The Scriptural passage for this morning is found in 1 John 4:4: “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” We are assured, as God’s own children, that we will overcome the devil because our God, who created all, has ultimate power and will overcome all within His realm. “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world,” as the Bill Gaither gospel song puts it. We serve the mighty God of all creation.
As we go about our Friday, let’s purpose in our hearts to be honest, kind, and true with our fellow man and to share the love, joy, and peace we have within us through Christ Jesus. Happy Friday!
