By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Proverbs 10:1: “The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.” An honest man who chooses God as his guide and stay will find his way straight and secure, but a dishonest man with the devil as his navigator will wander about aimlessly as if with no compass. Let us live out our lives with purpose, integrity, and honesty with God at the helm. He will steer us safely and keep us on course. Thank you, God, for your divine guidance in all areas of our lives. “Living by faith in Jesus above, trusting, confiding in His great love. From all harm safe in His sheltering arms, I’m living by faith, and I feel no alarm.” The chorus to that old gospel song clearly expresses the security the believer has in Christ Jesus. Amen!
His earthly mission, but will one day return to claim all of those who’ve accepted Him and His gift of salvation. Let us never forget the ultimate price He paid for us. As we go about our day, let’s show our appreciation by sharing love, joy, and kindness with others.
Happy Friday!
