The Magee High School Fishing Team qualified for an elite tournament by placing 6th in the state last year. The tournament was completed Saturday, October 28th at Lake Okaibbee in Collinsville, MS. The Magee High School Fishing team was formed last year. Bass fishing is a growing sport! Mississippi has over 130 high school teams. Seth Martiniere and Luke Blair finished first with a total weight of 11.93 lbs. These guys represented Simpson County well.
