The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 27:1: “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” The psalmist proclaims that the Lord is the most important presence in his life. He writes and sings praises to and about God with all his being. God is his everything. Can we claim that God is our light, our salvation, our strength, our all? If not, we need to do a personal assessment and reset our priorities. Let’s put our trust in God and have that inner peace which passes all earthly understanding. He wants us to have that inner peace, and it’s three for the asking.
