The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 27:1: “The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear: The Lord is the stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid?” The psalmist was a remarkable man who wrote songs and poems to honor his Lord, his King. Whether he was David or someone else, the message has remained clear throughout the ages: God is in control, and all who believe in Him need never be afraid. The believer is sheltered under His wings and is carefully confined within His care and keeping. Oh, what a promise! Amen!
