The Lord determines your steps.

The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 16:9: “In his heart, a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” Ever wonder why things don’t always turn out as we had planned? Well, this verse tells us that the paths we choose to take do not always coincide with God’s plan for our lives. If we put our trust in Him and keep in close contact through prayer and the study of His Word, our choices should coincide. We pray for God’s leadership in directing our choices, but we must be flexible and willing to accept the path of His choosing. Let us be compliant and subservient when it comes to God’s leadership. He’s never failed me yet. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God!

Let us trust and obey as we make our way through the day and be sure to share the love of God with all with whom we come in contact. Amen!
