The Scriptural passage for today is found in 1 Peter 5:10: “The God of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.” In this life, the Christian is never free of trial and heartache. Accepting God’s gift of salvation does not exempt His children from disease and loss common to all mankind. Unlike the unsaved, the Christian has the assurance that God will stand by us as we walk through valleys and endure trials. He will strengthen and restore. We are never alone, especially in our darkest hour. What a comfort! Thank you, Jesus! Amen!
