The Mt Olive Trail Riders rolled out Sunday headed to the Dixie National Livestock Show with plans to arrive Thursday, February 11, 2021.  Approximately twenty wagons traveled up old Highway 49 to an area across from Boswell.  The next stop will be D’Lo.  Each day the caravan travels miles.

(For years, the “Co-Op” crew has called Junior Mangum the Mayor of Goshen and his wife Charlotte, the First Lady!  We had to play a joke on Charlotte and put her on the home page.)

Clyde, Junior, and Chuck

Talking about a bunch of people having fun!!! Fun is the situation with these trail riders.  I believe this year, there were more single horses with riders than in the past.

The Mayor of Goshen, Junior Mangum, and the First Lady of Goshen, Charlotte Mangum, led Chuck Akers and I on a tour of the wagons.  (Really, we pick at Junior about being the Mayor of Goshen and Charlotte the First Lady)

Junior and Charlotte Mangum’s wagon
The ride was in Memory of B. J. Sullivan and Jamie Sullivan

The videos are a little long…but the experience of viewing the Trail Ride and all the riders up close and personal is worth the time.

One video is made in front of the Piggly Wiggly showing the procession through Magee.
