April is Earth Day month…I almost messed the time!
Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970. Over 20 million people took part in public demonstrations across the U.S. to advocate for legal environment protections.
Taking care of the earth is good for our health!
One way we can celebrate earth day is to clean around our homes and businesses. Make a promise to pick up one garbage bag of trash during this month. Just think if everyone participated in this event, Magee and Simpson County would be a better place.
We are the stewards of our planet. The future of our earth is in our hands.
