Dear Sue, I am conducting research for a history book I am writing. I am interested in obtaining information on the Tunica Times when it was owned by Clayton Rand. The editor was Turner Catledge, later executive editor of the New York Times. Rand opposed the KKK when it arrived in Tunica, and the KKK ran him out of business circa 1923. His building also burned down. Do you know if this was KKK arson? I would appreciate any help you can offer.
