The Magee City Cemetery is mowed and weeded!!! Thank you to the city crew and the Cemetery Committee who have encouraged and promoted the clean up of our cemetery.

The lovely day made me decide to take a tour through the cemetery.  I am not one who likes to hang out at the cemetery, but I do like to keep an eye on my son and parents graves.  When we turned into the cemetery, I was astounded at the well kept area.

I know our city has had a difficult time keeping up with mowing.  I doubt the cemetery is an easy place to mow…but thank you for realizing the importance of this special area in our city.

(Pictured above is my son Larkin’s grave.  Main picture is my parents grave…just a side note…see the football by Larkin’s grave, Jerrod Lee placed the football on Larkin’s grave in 2001…18 1/2 yrs later, the football is still there!)
