The Magee High School Football team and Cheerleaders received their State Championship rings and medallions Thursday, May 19, 2021.

The ceremony was held in the high school auditorium. Coach Teddy Dyess performed his last duty as coach for the Trojans.

As each athlete walked across the stage to receive their ring the smiles were unmeasurable. As soon as the kids exited the stage they immediately broke into the boxes that housed the rings and slipped them on their fingers.

The excitement was real and everyone wanted to pose for a picture with their new jewelry.

Coach Dyess presented athletic awards during the presentations.

Coach Dyess, Coach Eubanks, Coach Shufelt, Trainer Jonathan Pierce, Coach Milloy, Coach Shaw, Coach Lock, Coach Steele, Coach Johnson and Coach Thurman

Magee’s biggest cheerleader and supporter Jeff Anderson was honored with a ring. Jeff was so happy to receive a ring.

All State Chandler Pittman

Player of the year- Xavier Franks, Cayden Bridges, Jamal Dinkins, jameyian Spencer
All region 8-3A Player of the Year Chandler Pittman.

MVP offense player Xavier Franks

1st team offense Cayden Bridges, Jordan Magee, Jameyian Spencer, Jamal Dinkins, Preston Grim, DJ Jones, and Jody Durr.

The Lademian Ducksworth Memorial plaque  was awarded to Christian Mendez

2nd team all region 8-3A certificates
Juwan Shaw, Chris Dinkins, Thomas Dyess, Jaylen Floyd, Keywhaun Ducksworth, Jaylen Hicks, Cameron Floyd, Gavin Drones.
