The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in James 3:13: “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.” The New Testament writer, as did others, wrote letters of encouragement to early Christians, admonishing them to lead exemplary lives so the younger converts would be less likely to fall into the evil snares of the devil. The BIBLE tells us to seek wisdom. Ask for it when we pray to God. We have not, because we ask not. Wisdom will direct our paths to help in living the good life and in helping others. Remember that Solomon asked for wisdom, and God granted it. We should do no less, and God will provide it. Amen!
