Today, November 11th is Veterans Day a time to remember and celebrate the sacrifices made for our country.
Under the direction of Joe Worrell, a celebration was held at Goodwater Baptist Church Friday morning at 10. Magee Police Chief Shane Little was the featured speaker. Following visiting and fellowshipping , a meal was served.
Thank you to Goodwater Church and the senior adults who hosted the event.
(Sue note: Seeing these guys and girls visiting and telling war stories was quite moving. When I looked at their faces and thought of what they endured, I thank God, our country, our county, and the City of Magee for recognizing a great generation.)
