The end of March, the 10-year celebration is in the books as we began our next 10 years. I’ve dropped the ball on posting daily memories…why did I ever think I could do that…good intentions …just don’t always follow through…but what I can say is the “thank yous” go to You, the readers and contributors of MageeNews.com.
The website would not exist without your loyalty…your encouragement…your support…YOU have made MageeNews.com possible.
As I look toward the next 10-years, I see more live streaming…more up to the minute reporting…I see a “roving” reporter who is out and about all hours of the day and night. I see almost everything happening on the phone. But what I don’t see is the loss of personal interaction. Although we have become a society of texting and not talking, I fore see a thirst for one on one relationships…wanting to know more about others…becoming involved in our community…maybe this is just wishful thinking…but I truly believe technology will in some way bring us together! Face Book has down sides…but I love reconnecting with long lost friends. And one thing I can say…you know about people’s business! Ha
I look forward to entering this next ten years and more with YOU.
Just wanted ya’ll to know our #1 most “hit” story was Jimbo Nowell. Our #1 most watched video, was the “skimmer” video which was on MageeNews.com FB page.
Additional information: Last month, MageeNews.com had over 96,500 visits and almost 5,000,000 (5 million!) hits…now that is the website and does not include FB or Instagram. I just have to put one more plug in for MageeNews.com—a great place to advertise!!!
