Teresa Kennedy Wade, Magee, MS

Teresa Kennedy Wade peacefully passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015. She was born on April 20, 1960 in Jackson, MS to the late Noble Gene and Nell Kennedy.

Teresa was a long time resident of Magee, MS. She graduated from Magee High School in 1978 and worked as an insurance underwriter with Farm Bureau for 11 years. She went back to school at Jones Junior College where she was awarded her LPN degree. Teresa loved being a nurse and worked in Jackson and at the Magee Hospital.

She was a loving mother to her only child, Zachary Tyler Wade, of Brandon. Zachary was the light of her life. She was so proud of him and his many accomplishments. Teresa was blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law, Rachel, and her two grandsons, Cade and Cruz, of Brandon that she loved very much.

She is survived by her son, Zachary Wade and wife, Rachel Wade of Brandon and grandsons Cade and Cruz Wade . Her sister, Peggy Kennedy Goldstein and husband Larry of Jackson, MS and beloved nephews Alex Goldstein of Jackson and Robert Grenfell Jr. of Washington DC.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers, friends and loved ones who assisted with Teresa’s care during her long illness, especially The Wade family of Magee.

Teresa will be laid to rest beside her mother and father in The Magee Cemetery in a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to The Mind Center, 2500 N. State Street Jackson, MS 39216.

Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee. Online condolences may be made at www.tutorfuneralhome.com
