Teresa Jones, 66, passed away on September 21, 2025.  She was born on May 27, 1959, to the late Jerry Spears and Joyce Henderson Spears in Anniston, AL.

She embodied a quiet and steady strength, showing all who knew her that true courage need not be loud.  As a devoted wife, she shared a life built on love, loyalty, and partnership.  As a mother, she nurtured her children with patience, wisdom, and unwavering care.  Throughout her life, she faced challenges with dignity and resilience, setting an example of steadfastness and inner fortitude for her family and all who knew her.

She treasured her family above all else, and some of the most cherished memories are not of grand occasions but of the simple, joyful moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply.  Her warmth and presence made every ordinary day feel special.

She also found great joy in the beauty of nature.  She loved warm weather, tending to her plants and flowers lovingly, and spent many peaceful hours on her front porch, quietly watching the hummingbirds that visited her.  Her life was a reflection of strength, love, and quiet beauty, and her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Jones; daughters, Melanie Burnham (Archie), and Melissa Jones; sons, Joseph Jones (Lisa), and Anthony Jones; brother, Jerry Spears; sisters, Rita Bradford, Patricia Bell, and Melinda Spears Wood; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Spears and Joyce Henderson Spears; daughter, Kristie Jones; and sister, Lisa President.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral of Mendenhall.
