WHERE:      State Route 481 over Caney Creek in Smith County.

WHY:          On Monday, April 6, crews will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on SR 481 over Caney Creek in Smith County. The project will include: the replacement of the bridge deck, joint repairs, bank reshaping, rail cleaning, and more.

                    No detour route will be provided, but message boards will be in place to warn drivers of the road closure. Work is expected to wrap up spring of 2020.
