Four outstanding students are recipients of the Taylor Presidential Scholarship awarded through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. Recipients are seated from left, Ashleigh Castilaw of Wesson and Madison Franklin of Brookhaven, and standing from left, Co-Lin President Dr. Ronnie Nettles and Peyton Neely of Braxton. The scholarship was established in 2003 by Fred and Jewett Taylor of Oxford, as a prestigious annual scholarship to assist outstanding students within the college district. Applications are accepted through the president’s office. Scholarship recipients and donors were recently honored during the Co-Lin Foundation’s 15th annual scholarship reception held at The Thames Center on the Wesson Campus. The Co-Lin Foundation provides almost $200,000 in scholarships to over 150 Co-Lin students.
