Dr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor of Magee, Mississippi are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kennedy Elizabeth Taylor to Christopher Collin Loper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Loper of Laurel, Mississippi.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mike and Peggy Taylor of Magee, Mississippi, Charles and Sherry Landrum of Ellisville, Mississippi, and Marcus and Kathleen Burnham of Laurel, Mississippi.

 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Barbara Tisdale of San Angelo, Texas, the late Robert Loper, as well as the late Teddy and Susan Rounsaville.

 

Miss Taylor graduated from West Jones High School in 2015. She received her associate’s degree from Jones County Junior College in 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2020.

 

Mr. Loper graduated from South Jones High School in 2015. He received his associate’s degree in Kinesiology from Jones County Junior College and is currently employed as a manager at The Buckle in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

 

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 15th at First Baptist Church of Magee with reception to follow. The ceremony will be officiated by Dr. Jim Taylor.
