Tate Reeves Accepts North Mississippi Gubernatorial Debate

5th Debate Reeves Has Accepted This Election

JACKSON —  Friday morning, following Jim Hood’s final decision to skip the first Mississippi Governor’s debate scheduled for this coming Tuesday, Tate Reeves accepted another debate invitation in North Mississippi with WCBI on October 14th. This is the fifth debate invitation that Tate Reeves has accepted in this election—including two in the primary and three in the general election.

On September 3rd, Jim Hood said he would debate Tate Reeves “anytime and anywhere” and asked for three debates, one each in North, Central and South Mississippi. Reeves has now accepted televised debates in North, Central, and South Mississippi. Reeves has accepted the three debates that fall earliest on the calendar in a race between two well-known candidates.
