The Mississippi Supreme Court this afternoon, Oct. 8, agreed to expedite the appeal in the case of Gov. Tate Reeves v. Rep Philip Gunn and Rep. Jason White. Here is the link to the order: https://courts.ms.gov/appellatecourts/docket/sendPDF.php?f=700_516705.pdf&c=92649&a=N&s=2.

The Supreme Court also issued a separate order in which the Court said, “After due consideration, the panel finds that the motion to stay should be dismissed without prejudice, for the Appellant to immediately seek a stay in the trial court.”
