Friday, November 6th was the setting for the annual Matt Sullivan & family fall cook-out. This year’s party turned into a true celebration …Matt’s election as District Attorney for District 13.

Following months of campaigning, Friday’s event proved to be a relaxing fun time for the many “politicians” in attendance. Elected officials from all over the district plus the Sullivan’s many many friends filled the Sullivan barn with hungry folks and good food.

Matt and Kayla greeted guest and ask everyone to “sign” the board!

An abundance of delicious food was served in “stations” in every area of the barn.

The Sullivan’s have my idea of a barn! Sure the barn is full of farm equipment other months of the year…but during November the barn is transformed into a huge “clean” open building lined with lights, white table and chairs, and food stations that offer everything from barbecue to desserts and delicious sweet tea! Truly, one of the classiest barns I’ve ever visited!

Kayla and Matt’s dedicated friends who worked hard campaigning for his election were as happy to join in the celebration as were the Sullivan’s.

I made lots of pictures just to give ya’ll an idea of a barn celebration!

Special friends Ryan Berry and his wife were in attendance. Ryan is a friend from law school and Ryan’s wife designed Matt’s campaign posters.

Congratulations to Matt and Kyla on a well run clean campaign…now they can rest and prepare for the birth of their first child!
