SUFFERING FOR CHRIST SAKE

Listen today as the Holy Spirit talks to you about the kind of life you are living.  Our devotion today comes from 1Peter 4:12-14.  Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened unto you.  But rejoice in as much as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings that when His glory shall be revealed ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ happy are ye for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you on their part he is evil spoken of but on your part he is glorified.

We must keep our tongue under control.  Think about what we are trying to say before speaking at all.  We must turn from letting satan have control of our life to letting Jesus be our Lord, Master, King, and Savior.

Jesus is listening to what we are saying for He is everywhere.

Let your life shine for Jesus that people can see a change in you and they will want what you have.

The suffering of Christ on the cross brought us a home in Heaven.  We were on the mind of Christ while He was on the cross.  The ole rugged cross made the difference in a life bound for Hell to a glorious home in a place call Heaven.  What an awesome God we serve.  Have a blessed and victorious week.
