I’m just saying, we had some rough weather in Simpson County Thursday night…trees down, power lines , mess everywhere. One lady had a tree fall on her house and her car! According to Beverly McWilliams at the Magee PD…”stay off the roads”…in darkness very hard to see…be careful…stay home
The power outage messed up the viewing of Small Town Big Mayor for some people. There was no power in D’Lo or Mendenhall…Magee kept power. I understand 18 near Puckett is closed…trees everywhere. Please be careful!
Special prayers: Mrs. Jean Beatty a patient at MGH,
My understanding  is that the Highway 28 yard sale is on! Vendors will be setting up a little later than usual..so don’t hit the roads too early. The sale is Friday and Saturday. Be careful on 28…traffic will be tough.

MageeNews.com welcomes Schuler’s Poboy and Seafood Restaurant!  Their ad appears on every story page in the bottom right corner…click on the ad and check the special of the day.  I must say that I ate at Schuler’s for the first time last Saturday…absolutely the best fried shrimp I have had in Magee…check ’em out!  located on old highway 49 (formerly Magee Bakery building)…across from Polk’s Pharmacy…dine in or take out.  All information concerning the restaurant is on the menu page!  Friday’s special is Cheese ravioli with crawfish cream sauce or Shrimp Fettuccine ($8.95)

Enjoy your weekend!
