I feel as if I’ve been away from “ya’ll” for a month…and it has only been a few days! I have spent the last two days watching the trial of Chris Lane vs Wesley Broadhead. Due to the nature of the trial, I will not comment until the trial ends…and I don’t know when that will be! I’ll be at the Book Fair and then heading to the courthouse. Lots to learn and lots to see in the big old courthouse room…I’m just saying…most of the time the jury is coming and going…they can’t stay in court while certain items are discussed. That is one group getting their exercise!
Special prayer for Billie Joyce Sullivan. She was taken by ambulance following problems with heart issues. She is in the hospital in Jackson and does have blockages and is being kept in the Critical Care Unit.

One of my favorite local TV guys, Bert Case, died today. Bert has been apart of many lives for many years. I guess my all time favorite is his stand off with former Governor Kirk Fordice. Picture is our own Jamie Puckett “photo bombing” Bert. Love the picture Jamie!
