Prayer of praise for the successful partial knee replacement surgery performed on Linda Little Thursday morning. Linda is feeling well…just continues to need our prayers. Prayers for Ford Bishop and Leona McAlpin both patients at Magee General Hospital. Prayers for Joey Smith who is deployed to South East Asia are requested. Prayers for our military as several of our friends in the community prepare for deployment to Afghanistan. Please remember Kathy McCarty Flynt who is St D.
Friday is the last day to qualify to run for an office in Simpson County. Appears we are going to have an interesting several months.
Simpson Academy had an awesome basketball season…those boys did a repeat for AA State Champs…but the Cougars lost to Magnolia Heights in the first round of the Over all State Play off….I think this is a special team…they have worked around injuries…they have never given up…they have kept the Crain Train going…Congratulations on such a great season.
I have contacted the schools in the surrounding areas to submit a picture and bio of their senior. I’m waiting….there is no charge…I just want to “show off” your children. Please encourage your senior to send me the info!
Just some info for everyone concerning investments…I read this the other day and thought it was something I would share:
Follow these steps and keep your accounts secure
A brokerage account can be a lot like a bank account. Keep your money safe from scammers and fraud. Take the time to do the following to protect yourself:
¥ Pick a “strong” password, keep it secure, and change it regularly.
¥ Use two-step verification, if available.
¥ Use different passwords for different online accounts (i.e., brokerage, banking, retirement, or other similar financial accounts).
¥ Avoid using public computers to access your online brokerage account.

I can’t get Tommy D Brown’s family off my mind! Visitation is Friday night and the funeral is Saturday morning. A full obituary is listed under the Obituary tab. I see his face…I see his smile…I see the love he had for others….Pray for the family and friends…the days ahead will be difficult…by helping take care of Tommy D’s family, we can repay the times he helped others. My heart is sad.
