SIMPSON COUNTY PUBLIC LAW & SAFETY CLASSES TOUR THE CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Instructor Jesse Gonzales’s Public Law & Safety Classes toured the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility located in Rankin County, on Friday, February 2nd, 2019. Superintendent Ron King supervises the tour giving students a firsthand look at prison life. Several offenders talked about life inside prison and how they came to be there. Many of the offenders voiced the negative impact drugs have had on their lives and family members, and talked about the importance of staying in school and making better decisions.
