Thursday night, March 22nd, at approximately 10:45 PM, the Magee Fire Department was paged to a structure fire at 815 McLaurin Drive (near Becky Burgers). Seventeen firefighters and five pieces of fire equipment were on scene.
Ladder 1 was the first truck on scene. The responding firemen executed an interior attack through the front door knocking the fire down quickly.
Magee Police Department were on the scene assisting in blocking the road and directing traffic.
No one was living in the house at the time. The house is a total loss.
