STEPS IN RECEIVING YOUR SIGHT

Listen today as the holy spirit speaks to you.  Our reading today comes from the book of Mark 10:46-52.  In these verses we have the story of the blind Bartimaeus.  As Jesus was leaving the city of Jericho with His disciples and a crowd of people, blind Bartimaeus was on the roadside begging.  He heard Jesus as He passed by.  Bartimaeus with a loud voice was calling out to Jesus have mercy on me.

The crowd along the roadside told him to be quiet.  Bartimaeus only got louder.  Jesus stood still and commanded the blind man be called.  The crowd called the blind man.  Immediately the blind man came to Jesus.

Role models can be positive or negative.

Don’t put a lot of concern into what others think of you.

March 31, 2026

Jesus asked him what he wanted.  The blind man had faith to receive what he wanted from God.  After receiving his sight Bartimaeus followed Jesus the rest of his life.

What have you asked Jesus for?  Do you believe it can be done?  We must have faith in what we are asking for deny our self and thank God for it.  We are all blind until we give our sight to Jesus.

Father thank you for opening our eyes.  We once were blind but now we see.  In Jesus name we pray.  Have a blessed and victorious week.
