Congratulations to SMSgt Stephen Blair on his recent promotion to serve in the top 2.5% of the Enlisted Force as a Senior Master Sergeant. Stephen is the son of Larry and Patsie Blair of Magee and is married to his wife Dana from Pennsylvania. Stephen began his Air Force career in 2001, not long after he graduated from Magee High School. He has earned an Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. Stephen is currently stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea where he is the Heavy Repair Superintendent. He has earned several awards throughout his career including two Meritorious Service medals, five Air Force Commendation medals, 6 Achievement medals and an Army commendation medal. Additionally, he was recently selected by the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force to attend the United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Academy in Petaluma California, a sister-service Advanced Leadership School. His dedication to duty resulted in being recognized as the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for the 19th Airlift Wing. We are very proud of Stephen and his accomplishments throughout his military career.
