People are continuing to steal flowers from the Magee City Cemetery.  Many families have dealt with this problem causing cameras to be installed at the cemetery.

Monday, following a burial service within about one hour, the thieves struck again!  These folks took a beautiful casket piece that was especially designed to remain at the cemetery.

Who steals from the dead??? Really, this just breaks my heart.  Only because a family member returned to the cemetery to collect flowers to make a bouquet was the theft discovered so soon.

Our cemetery committee is putting the thieves on notice.  We will not stop until you are arrested.

Office Ben Stephens is checking the camera footage.

My advice would be to come clean now before your face is plastered all over social media.

Take the flower piece back where you stole it —do the right thing and honor the dead and their precious families.  Leave it on the front steps of the Police Station…heck, you can leave it on my front porch!

I am aware of other families who have dealt with stolen flowers.

We are watching.  We are waiting.  I am putting you on notice…
